Daria Ložnjak Dizdar (Ph.D. prehistoric archaeology, University of Zagreb, Croatia; M.A. and
B.A. archaeology) is the project’s principal investigator. She is employed as a research
associate at the Institute of Archaeology. Her research focus is on material culture of Late
Bronze Age and Early Iron Age in northern Croatia and includes experience in numerous field projects. She will be responsible for the analysis of artifacts and features, archaeological excavation and coordination of the project.
Petra Rajić Šikanjić (Ph.D. bioarchaeology, University of Zagreb, Croatia; M.Sc. biological
anthropology; B.A. archaeology) is one of the project’s associated researchers. She is
employed as a senior research associate at the Institute for Anthropological Research. Her research focus is on bioarchaeological analyses of human skeletal material from archaeological sites dating from prehistory to the Early Modern Age. She will be responsible for the analysis of human remains.

Marko Dizdar (Ph. D. prehistoric archaeology, University of Zagreb, Croatia; M. A. and B. A.
archaeology) is one of the project’s associated researchers. He is employed as a senior
research associate at the Institute of Archaeology. His research focus is on protohistoric communities and analyses of different concept of identities in Carpathian Basin He will be responsible for archaeological investigations and analyses of identity, for eastern Croatia in particular.
Stašo Forenbaher (Ph.D. anthropology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas; M.A. and B.A. prehistoric archaeology, University of Zagreb, Croatia) is one of the project’s associated researchers. He is employed as a research advisor at the Institute for Anthropological Research. His research focus is prehistoric societies of southern Europe. He will take part in the project as a researcher tasked with the integration of the results of bioarchaeological analyses with the results of the analyses of the material culture.

Zrinka Premužić (B.A. anthropology, University of Zagreb, Croatia) is the project’s assistant
researcher. She is employed as an assistant at the Institute for Anthropological Research. Currently, she is working on her doctoral thesis in the field of bioarchaeology. She will be assisting in the analysis of human remains. Her Ph.D. thesis will be based on human skeletal material from a sample of 50 incineration burials from Poljana Križevačka, which is one of the cemeteries investigated by this project.

Boris Kavur (Ph. D. historical anthropology, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and B. A.
archaeology) is one of the project’s associated researchers. He is employed as a senior
research associate/associate professor at the Science and Research Centre and Faculty of
Humanities, University of Primorska, Slovenia. His research focus is prehistoric communities of the southeast Alpine region. He will take part in the project as a researcher tasked with the integration of the results of radiocarbon analyses with the results of the analyses of the
material culture.

Carola Metzner-Nebelsick (Ph. D. Pre- and Protohistory, University of Berlin, Germany, M. A.
and B. A. archaeology) is one of the project’s associated researchers. She is employed as a full professor and chair for Pre-and Protohistory at Ludwig-Maximillian University, Munich,
Germany. Her research focus is Bronze and Iron Age communities of Central and Eastern
Europe. She will take part in the project as a researcher tasked with archaeological analyses, especially regarding cemeteries and mortuary practice in Carpathian basin.

Marie Louise Stig Sørensen (Ph D. Prehistory, University of Cambridge, UK, B.A.
archaeology University of Århus, Denmark) is one of the project's associated researchers. She is employed as University Senior Lecturer in Archaeology at the University of Cambridge, UK. Her research focus is connection between identity and material culture in European Bronze Age and gender archaeology. She will take part in the project as a researcher tasked with integration of the results of archaeological and anthropological analyses, especially regarding connection between body treatment and social identity.

Siniša Radović (PhD, prehistoric archaeology, University of Zagreb, Croatia, BA archaeology, University of Zagreb) is BAMPIca project's consultant. He is employed as a research associate at the Institute for Quaternary Paleontology and Geology, Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. His research focus are zooarchaeology, vertebrate taphonomy, cave taphonomy, prehistory and funerary rites. He takes part in the project as a researcher tasked with the analyses of animal remains in graves.
